Victoria, B.C.


In our home province our most recent major project is a Client Analysis of Small Ferry Routes for the Provincial Ferry organization, BC Ferries Corporation.

Vancouver, B.C.


We recently provided a cost analysis evaluation for the Port of Vancouver, which is the second busiest port in North America.

Vietnam

N.C.I. consultants recently completed an extensive Waterways Management & Modernization study through the Canadian Foreign Development Agency in Vietnam, developing standards to aid the efficiency and safety of Vietnam’s inland and coastal waterways.

Hawaii

Nautical Consulting International’s consultants delivered a Paper entitled “Sextant to Satellite – Aids to Navigation in the 21st Century” at the 1994 IALA Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Papua New Guinea

Currently N.C.I. is active with an Asian Development Bank Project for the government of Papua New Guinea. Our role here is to provide operational recommendations for the reorganization of the PNG Marine Safety Agency and to support a major aids to navigation rehabilitation project in Papua New Guinea.

Sydney Australia

N.C.I. presented at the 2002 30th Annual P.I.A.N.C Conference in Sydney Australia. Our lead Consultant, Capt. Brian Tuomi, presented a paper entitled “Improving and Expanding Navigation in Rivers of Developing Nations”. Presentation was at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, September 25. (Session 9B, Abstract 117).

N.C.I. is performed an extensive Marine Traffic Study in Phuket, Thailand, an extremely busy coastal area with a variety of dense recreational and commerical shipping areas.
